Solar pool heating Western Cape
Sunlight warms water as it passes through the collectors. The existing circulation system returns that warmth to your pool; the right layout depends on shading, pool dimensions and the condition of the plumbing.
Results vary with the weather and your property. We can help you understand what a solar installation is likely to offer for the way you swim.

Customer experiences

Kelvin's team at GridFree Solar Pool Heating installed my solar geyser and pool panels about 8 months ago. During that time, as can be expected from wear and tear, I had 2 minor leaks on my roof from the pool panels. The most recent one was this week. I simply emailed Kelvin and his team came out promptly to sort it out with zero hassle. Fantastic after-sales service!
My initial call to Kelvin at GridFree Solar Pool Heating was to discuss problems that I was experiencing with my heat pump. After we spoke about the various options, I decided to convert to solar heating. Best decision I could have made—the installation and service were top-notch.
Moving to Cape Town was one of the best experiences of my life, until I was introduced to the local service industry. Empty promises and late arrivals, sometimes 2–3 days later, were nothing new. What an absolute pleasure it was dealing with GridFree Solar Pool Heating when I needed my system sorted out! Prompt, reliable, and professional from start to finish.
What an amazing experience dealing with GridFree Solar Pool Heating. From Kelvin and his management to the entire installation team, everyone was very professional. You can truly see the years of experience in the quality of their workmanship and customer care.
I had a solar system for more than 30 years, and it finally passed its due date. I called GridFree Solar Pool Heating for help and advice. They sent out a team to investigate the problems, and I was clearly shown why the old system needed replacing. I got a fair quote for a new system, and the installation went smoothly.
GridFree Solar Pool Heating took over looking after my solar system some years ago. Once again today they were here, in and out, sorting out my problem effortlessly. The office staff were efficient and followed up along the way, and the installation team on-site was nothing short of brilliant. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
Since I started dealing with GridFree Solar Pool Heating, I have learnt what the words "caring about your customers" really mean. I have experienced kindness and professionalism beyond all expectations. Kelvin is always prepared to listen and go the extra mile to help.
